beautiful environment at the foot of the mountains with
magnificent views and is just a short walk from the
sea through a residential area containing mature villas.
Located in the exclusive coastal setting of La Azohía
in the Puerto de Mazarrón region of the Costa
Cálida. La Azohía remains essentially
a fishing village, retaining much of its original charm,
yet a whole range of activities from water sports to

The closest town is Puerto de Mazarron which is about
a 10 minute drive and has all of the facilities that
you would need: supermarkets, banks, etc. There is a
golf course 20 minutes drive inland. The city of Cartagena
is a 25 minute drive and has 2 large hypermarkets, Corte
Ingles department store (similar to Selfridges) and
a pedestrianised shopping area. It also has a new marina
and waterfront with bars and restaurants. Cartagena
is an old city dating back to pre Roman times and is
an excellent place to explore. |

The bay of Mazarron is enclosed by the mountain ranges
of Sierras Moreras, Almenara, Algorobo, Lo Alto, Muela
and slightly further to the North, Sierra Espuña.
This gives Mazarron Bay a "microclimate" which
invariably results in better weather than the rest of
Spain. Puerto de Mazarron boasts more than 300 days
of sunshine every year. This is the ideal place for
a self-catering Spanish holiday.
